Maine Masonic Charity Foundation issued a check to Freeport Community Services (FCS) in the amount of $1,000 on behalf of District #14 Masonic Lodges to provide food assistance to the local community. Richard Miller, current Chaplain of Freeport Lodge, also attended this presentation. The six (6) local lodges represented in Masonic District #14 are United Lodge in Brunswick, Solar Star Lodge in Bath, Freeport Lodge #23, Village Lodge in Bowdoinham, Acacia Lodge in Durham, and Ancient Lodge in Lisbon. FCS provides free lunches to-go on 1st and 3rd Friday each month as a drive-thru service at their facility on Depot Street in Freeport.
